Zac Efron’s interview with The Advocate is a chance for the actor to address gay rumors that date all the way back to his High School Musical days. These male celebs set the record straight when it came to their sexualities.

While it is definitely not the same as a formerly-closeted LGBTQ + celeb publicly coming out and living/sharing their. But while Zac Efron isn’t gay, he’s always been a vocal LGBT ally. He’s repeatedly expressed love for his LGBT fans and publicly supports same-sex marriage.

Millions of women around the world love Zac Efron — but they're not the only ones! Speaking to The Advocate, the Paperboy actor acknowledges his gay fan base and voices his support for. Zac Efron is not gay, but he is a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and is extremely thankful for his fans in the gay community. Though he has played a gay character on screen, Zac is heterosexual and has dated many women throughout his career.

Zac Efron's been quite busy recently. He's been filming "The Paperboy" in his underwear, and "At Any Price" also in his underwear - although a bit less so. And he's also been giving some pretty cool interviews about things like whether or not he's going to move back into musical theatre, and how he feels about the gay rumours which have followed him around ever since his High School Musical days.
