This year’s edition includes eclectic songs with exciting rhythms and beautiful harmonies, and featuring our high-kicking, bedazzled 17th Street Dance as well as our small ensembles and the GenOUT Youth Chorus!. Seattle Men’s Chorus Holiday Show Seattle Men’s Chorus serves up everyone’s favorite holiday tradition: seasonal classics, Christmas comedy, a dizzying array of dancing Santas, and the gayest sing-along ever! Songs include “Pink Christmas,” “Joy to the World,” and a new holiday version of “Holding Out for a Hero.”. What better way to celebrate the holiday season than watching the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus in our concert, Light, Bright, and Gay.

We will be performing your favorite sacred and secular holiday tunes mixed with camp, like only the gay men’s chorus can do!. The program will include plenty of traditional holiday fare (Sure on the Shining Night, Silent Night, and We are Lights), along with new arrangements (That Christmas Morning Feeling, Pink Christmas and A Super Gay Christmas), and some truly unexpected and fabulous surprises!.

Reviving the music from the legendary event in July alongside contemporary music royalty who would be on the red carpet today. With stunning visuals, this concert creates a wonderful moment of time travel.

On the 4th July , the Chorus returned to Alexandra Palace Theatre to showcase a celebration of global pride in its production of Queer Carnival — a show performed in multiple languages and in partnership with the Kaleidoscope Trust. October saw us revive our spooktacular Halloween Ball at the atmospheric theatre of Alexandra Palace.

In April , we put on a special show to celebrate the masterful talent and body of work of the genius that was Stephen Sondheim We were thrilled to return to the West London Synagogue to perform at their annual World AIDS Day service and concert, in their first major in-person event since the start of the pandemic. In December , we celebrated our 30th anniversary with a big birthday celebration at the Clapham Grand.

Joined by guest artists Lauren Foley and Thomas Duern, the show featured many LGMC favourites from over the years, as well as some new additions to our repertoire. Performed on Sunday 20 June Saturday 5 December, 7. Amidst the Coronavirus lockdown, more than 80 of our members recorded their own videos in isolation, at home on their own equipment. These were then edited together to form our first virtual performance, to give thanks to all the key workers bravely keeping us safe and keeping things moving. Watch it at bit. For the third year running we returned to the Central Atrium of Liberty of London to celebrate the Christmas season on Sunday 8th December Using powerful, rousing and emotional music alongside personal testimony and story-telling, the show considered memories of the childhood home, leaving it behind you, striking out on your own, and ultimately finding or creating your own personal version of home.

On Sunday 27th October, our Ensemble boys were thrilled to return once again to the top of the Gherkin to sing for challenge participants as they completed the annual 38 flight climb to raise money for the NSPCC. On 12th October we celebrated the life of one of founding members, Robert Offord. Part of the Shaw Celebrates Pride Season. On 15th June we celebrated 60 years of Motown and its influence with Hitsville at the Troxy.

With the bawdy spirit of the Victorian music hall the show delivered rousing carols, drinking songs, cabaret, vaudeville, burlesque and circus. Our boys sang to people as they completed the 38 flight climb to raise money for the charity. This was the first time our boys have performed at the Camden Fringe festival. As always, we took to the streets of London on Saturday 7th July to sing and dance our way along the parade for Pride in London.

This year, we also performed on the main stage in Trafalgar Square, and were delighted to be joined by Conleth Kane to perform Titanium. On 23rd June , our Ensemble headed back to Dorset once again to perform at Chesil Rocks — a music Festival featuring classical, choral, folk, blues, indie and rock acts from locality and beyond, all to raise money for the Samaritans in Dorset. We were also honoured to be joined by Conleth Kane as our special guest.

It was a great opportunity for us to not only perform at the festival and the public in Max-Joseph-Platz, but also to learn from all the other choirs from around the world that took part in the festival. A broad range of music showcasing Hollywood in all its grandeur, special guests Rachel Tucker and Dylan Turner, dancers and fantastic choreography all combined to create a spectacular winter treat. On Monday 4th December we were honoured to perform Freedom by Wham!

On 5th November we performed at the launch of the Christmas festivities at Liberty in London.
